Our story began when Axel and Håvard, the two tech-savvy students, observed that the insurance industry struggled with various IT complications. They decided to start their company, knowing that the possibilities of developing some very clever and user-friendly software were right there, just waiting to be found! In 2016 the idea turned into reality, and Cloud Insurance was born to disrupt the status quo.

Since then, our cloud platform has received international recognition and gained a user base in over 20 countries on five continents. We help insurers digitize their operations, manage policies, claims, distribution, financials, and reports faster, easier, and cheaper than ever possible. We support the insurance life cycle end-to-end, covering front-end, back-end, customer portals, and integrations.

More about the position

This is a new position and integral to the future success of the company. Therefore, we need an outstanding Head of Product who will take us to the next level. A stellar product team is in place, and we have embarked on a journey to becoming a truly product-driven organization. Now we need a driving force with dedicated responsibilities for product management overall; including owning vision and roadmaps and processes for evaluating the implementation of new features. 

As Head of Product you will lead our product team and ensure that the team has the necessary competencies and capabilities to ensure an industry leadership position.

Key tasks and responsibilities

• Coach, inspire and grow the product team
• Be an evangelist for product-driven growth in the organization
• Be part of the company’s management team and contribute to the overall company strategy
• Build and maintain the product strategy
• Own the product roadmap and prioritizations
• Implement and refine frameworks and methodologies for design driven product development
• Manage insights of user and business needs, follow market trends, and evaluate use cases for market desirability
• Make sure we build features and prioritize projects that are viable, feasible and desirable throughout markets and users
