Head of Business Excellence - NHST Media Group

Consumer Business is NHST’s new group-wide department responsible for developing all B2C and B2B subscription and user revenue business, across the portfolio of publications. We aim to be the no. 1 digital subscription provider within our prioritized target groups and markets, through world-class journalism, subscription services and user experience. We create customer value and build long-lasting customer relationships with smart use of insight, technology and team effort.

Business Excellence is a proactive and highly competent team within subscription operations and technology, continuous improvement, subscription technology and operational excellence. The team has system ownership of relevant subscription IT systems and platforms, and business ownership of relevant analytics projects. The team will secure high quality, robust data management and compliance with legal requirements and regulations. Always with quality journalism at the heart.

Striving to be the no. 1 digital subscription provider we are now looking for a Head of Business Excellence that will drive the strategy for all Consumer Business activities across the group. You will lead and develop an international high-performing specialist team, and together define and realize business excellence strategies. You will work towards ambitious quality and improvement targets, on an operational and strategic level both internally and externally.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor´s degree or higher in Technology, Business Administration or similar, and proven experience within commercial operations management. You have excellent digital competence, hands-on experience within digital subscription services and strong knowledge of IT systems and platforms. Experience with working in a global environment, and within a complex matrix organization will be an advantage. As a person you have an analytical and methodical approach with excellent communication skills both written and verbal. In your career you have also accumulated experience with team development and change management.
