We’re looking for an embedded software manager to join our team.

About the job

As an Embedded Software Manager, you’ll get to be in the driver’s seat of the embedded software development at Zaptec, dedicated to making the world more sustainable.

You’ll lead a highly competent embedded team and be responsible for developing top-quality products with new features designed to meet both today’s and tomorrow’s needs.

What your day-to-day might look like

Communicate the defined development strategy and establish a shared vision with internal and external stakeholders
Lead and coordinate responsibilities with all embedded software engineers
Improve the processes in your department and be in charge of delivery
Collaborate with- and utilize synergies across other tech departments
Drive the embedded department forward by coordinating the planning, expectations, and resource needs efficiently
Take part in recruitment processes to further strengthen the embedded software department

About you

Master’s degree in Engineering, Informatics or equivalent practical experience
Experienced project manager, or leader, within a technical department or similar
Excellent domain knowledge within embedded systems
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Excellent teamwork skills, and proven ability to motivate and engage others in a constructive and collaborative relationship
