We’re looking for a technical development manager to join our team.

About the job

As a Development Manager, you’ll be responsible for ensuring world-class processes and collaboration across all development departments at Zaptec, dedicated to making the world more sustainable.

You will be leading dedicated managers within the hardware-, software- & cloud departments, and have the overall responsibility of prioritization and delivery focus.

What your day-to-day might look like

Analyze and understand technical challenges to set a clear direction for the technology team
Identify and evaluate competence- and team requirements to deliver on company goals
Lead and coordinate responsibilities with all technical department managers to ensure the progress, development, processes, and overall delivery is met
Overlook all development initiatives across Zaptec’s departments and make necessary clarifications and decisions
Collaborate with all technical department managers to utilize synergies across all technical departments
Drive the technical departments forward by coordinating the planning, expectations, and resource needs efficiently together with department managers
Take part in recruitment processes to further strengthen the technical departments

About you

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Informatics or equivalent practical experience
Experienced project manager, or leader, within a technical department or similar
Excellent technical domain knowledge
Excellent relational, communication, and presentation skills
Excellent teamwork skills, and proven ability to motivate and engage others in a constructive and collaborative relationship
