Data is one of the most valuable assets a business can have and potentially has a tremendous impact on its long-term success. That is why it is vital to utilize the right tools and technologies to fully leverage all available data and make it as accurate as possible.  

To maximize the opportunities related to data management, Laerdal Medical has developed a state-of-the-art cloud-based business analytics platform and IoT pipeline. For example, Laerdal captures IoT device data, monitors product adoption, and traces user behaviors. These multi-dimensional data sets can be linked and analyzed to create new insights, providing value for internal stakeholders and customers alike.  

Accountabilities  

As a Product Manager of Business Analytics & IoT, you will have the primary ownership of the business analytics platform, taking care of business needs, working with stakeholders to define what to prioritize in which order and to ensure it happens. 

As a Product Manager, your accountabilities are: 

•  Interact proactively with the broader organizations to understand business needs and opportunities
•  Establish and maintain a roadmap 
•  Manage project intake and governance processes to implement the roadmap
•  Clarify what to solve where on the relevant platforms?– prepare recommendations on make or buy add-ons 
• Define feature definitions together with designers 
• Ensuring that the platform's' backlog' is prioritized, visible, transparent, and clear to all stakeholders 
•  Determine whether a feature definition or module was satisfactorily delivered 
• Interface with technical delivery teams 

Qualifications & Experience

We are searching for a candidate with a Bachelor or master’s degree and a minimum 5 years of relevant experience. 

Other qualifications: 

•  Experience?with Data Management,?Business Analytics & IOT 
•  Proven track record from similar roles, e.g. Product manager 
•  Ability to successfully operate across all functions and build a network in the organization 
•  Organized, systematic and structured 
•  Excellent communication skills in English, both orally and written 
•  A good technical understanding and curiosity 
•  Flexibility to travel 

The position reports to Martin Hetland, Director – Project and Application Management. The job is based in Stavanger, Norway.
