Technical Production Manager Ship Performance Monitoring

Kyma is looking for a person with suitable background to join our performance monitoring and analysing team.

 The position reports directly to the department manager Production and commissioning.

Duties and responsibilities

• System design of our Ship Performance systems in cooperation with customers and internal production departments.
• Following up commissioning of Ship Performance projects by liaising with our Service Agents in various countries, and by attending some commissioning yourself.  
• On site commissioning to train local engineers, mainly in Asia and Europe.
• Quality control throughout the design, detail engineering, manufacturing, and commissioning phases.
• Support our R&D dept. and Sales dept. with technical knowledge
• Assist the department manager of the Production and Commissioning department in overseeing project work and commissioning work in general.

Your background

• Naval Architect, Marine Engineer, Chief Engineer or similar.
• Experience from the marine industry, preferably within propulsion systems and performance monitoring
• Fluent written and spoken communication skills in English.
