As the Chief Executive Office, you represent KONGSTEIN, lead the Executive Management Team and enable the organization to implement and execute strategic directives from shareholders.
Key responsibilities
o Promote and enable a forward-thinking company culture focusing at safety, quality and environment;
o Provide authentic and inspiring leadership;
o Create an environment that promotes great performance and positive morale combined with a no-blame culture;
o Develop and communicate the company’s overall company vision and targets; Act as the primary spokesperson for the company;
o Work with the executive management team to determine values and mission, and plan for short and long-term goals;
o Make high-level decisions about policy and strategy;
o Oversee the company-wide’s fiscal activity, including budgeting, reporting, and auditing;
o Assure all legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations company-wide;
o Help with recruiting and developing (leadership) talents;
o Report to the board of directors and keep it informed when required;
o Build resilient alliances and partnerships with other organizations.
The ideal candidate has/ is
o Global leadership experiences in the energy industry;
o Business references from positions in strategic and technical management consulting, supply chain functions and/or major industry projects
o Strong technical and business background with a university degree;
o Excellent communication skills, stakeholder awareness and a commercial mind-set;
o Open minded, team-oriented, proactive and authentic;
o Business fluent in Norwegian and English - an additional language is a plus; preferable French, Spanish or Portuguese;
o Willingness to work in a fast-changing environment; as well as willingness to travel.
