Brewing and Processing Director

We are looking for a Brewing and Processing Director to our main production plant at Ringnes Gjelleråsen, just outside Oslo. The Brewing and Processing Director is the head of the B&P department and reports to VP ISC Norway.

Key responsibilities:

• Ensure that the B&P department operates safely and in accordance with agreed legal, regional and group standards
• Responsible for all processes and people from Raw material receipt through to Bright Beer Transfer and tanker beer management
• Responsible for the delivery of agreed production plans according to quality, cost and service criteria
• Responsible for the short and long term development of people and plant within the department
• Drive performance gaps closure and continuous improvement of B&P KPIs through effective use of Lean TPM & Carlsberg Excellence Methodologies
• Ensure that all Carlsberg standard methods, tools and process  are implemented in accordance with regional and global agreements
• Actively participates as part of the site senior management team in order to develop and achieved site strategy and objectives
• Actively participates as part of the regional and global B&P best practice community

Qualifications:

• University degree in Food Engineering.
• Brewmaster education (SSB, VLB or similar)
• Managerial experience within drinks production environment
• 5 years experience within a B&P environment with 3 years at management level.
• Proven experience in managing budgets, developing people and plant and delivering performance improvements through Lean TPM & Carlsberg Excellence methodology.
• Fluent in English and Norwegian (preferable)
