Are you our new proactive and self-driven HSSEQ & Marine Manager?

Our new colleague will be head of our passionate HSSEQ & Marine team, which also includes the Environmental- and Sustainability disciplines.

The Role:

• Focus on creating a high-performance culture within HSSEQ and enable its continuous improvement
• Be accountable for the company’s HSSEQ policies, standards and processes and promote HSSEQ corporate responsibility across the entire value chain
• Development of competence and personal skills for dedicated personnel
• Ensure that the company is in compliance with applicable Regulatory- and Industry rules and guidance
• Manage external clients and customers
• Monitor and ensure that vessels are customer approved
• Monitor and analyse external trends, expectations, and requirements on HSSEQ aspects to maintain best-in-class performance, self-assessments, and proactive reporting
• Initiate and lead Investigation of incidents and accidents
• Lead the company's sustainability work
• Contribute to the company`s greener future in transportation
• Actively contribute to the development of the company
• Safeguard strict adherence to HSSEQ requirements amongst all suppliers and alliance partners
• Establish, develop, and maintain the yearly HSSEQ plan and KPIs

Do you have?

• Nautical/Technical or Administrative higher education.
• Minimum 5 years’ relevant HSSEQ experience within the international shipping business/industry
• The leadership skills to inspire behavioural change that enables Rederiet Stenersen to be on the highest level of the industry’s HSSEQ performance standard
• Excellent presentation and communication skills for Rederiet Stenersen HSSEQ strategic objectives
• A strong HSSEQ mindset with an excellent track record of high performance and consistent results
• Knowledge of relevant rules, regulations, and standards concerning Maritime tanker industry
• One of the Scandinavian language
• Strong verbal and written English language skills

The position reports to Head of Ship Management.

Travel activities will be a part of the position.
