As our current Director of F&A is taking on a new position internally we seek for a replacement.

The position is responsible for the Finance & Admin function for Kardex for the Nordic countries (Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland). Duties and responsibilities are closely linked to the company’s values and require skills and an interest in business, finance, and accountancy. The role encompasses financial / commercial analysis, support to the Business Unit on day-to-day activities, as well as ensuring accurate reporting and filing of accounts.

As a director F&A for the Nordics you are included in the Nordic Management group reporting to the Regional Director of F&A North East Europe. The role includes financial management of the main operational processes but also controlling task for 2 of the Nordic countries. You will be in charge of monthly reporting and forecasting and also to run the budget process for the Nordic region. The position has 3 direct reports (2 accountants and 1 controller).


Duties and Responsibilities:

To participate in the financial planning and control for the Nordic Region of Kardex Remstar Division. To ensure timely and accurate execution of all finance activities in order to maintain liquidity and optimize the allocation of financial resources. To develop financial procedures, standards, policies, and work practices, that comply with both Kardex Group international reporting and national statutory requirements for all 4 Nordic legal entities.

To business partner all functions across the Nordic region. The role also include responsibility for implementing and maintaining Internal Control Procedures The role involves travel and hands on management of the business lines in the unit.

 

Qualifications; skills and competencies:

• Preferably a Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field

• A minimum of 7 years of relevant business / financial experience

• Excellent command of written and oral English and Norwegian

• Good skills in ERP system and Microsoft packages

• Self-driven and result oriented

• Ability to work with details and maintain high level understanding

• Flexible and Solution oriented

• Ability to develop resources

• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing at all levels in the organization

• Commercial mindset combined with strong analytical skills

 • Min 5 years experience of managing a team

• Passionate team player and leader with experience from management team work
