Senior QHSE Advisor At InterMoor AS

InterMoor are looking to source a Senior QHSE Advisor on a full time, permanent basis. This role will be based in Dusavik, Stavanger with some travel expected, to our location at Sløvåg, occasionally international, visiting both internal and external customers. The role reports directly to Managing Director and the role is part of Senior Management team and will contribute to development of the Company together with the Management team. The Senior QHSE Advisor will be driving the QHSE work within InterMoor AS and support the Acteon QHSE teams work and direction within the area, Health and Safety, Environment and Quality.

Duties

• Introduce overall Q & HSE policy. Create and maintain a conscious culture for the QHSE system
• Develop and maintain a well-established HSE, quality and environmental management system (Q & HSE-System) with regard to InterMoor AS, its strategic business plan and growth ambitions to ensure that the systems are re-certified annually in accordance with ISO 9001, 14001, OHSAS 18001, Achilles and EPIM
• Ensure that the Management System is maintained, operated, and kept alive at all levels of the organization
• Drive InterMoor's engagement and development of our continuous work to monitor environmental footprint and develop reduction targets and actions plans
• Participate in tenders work as requested by business department
• Ensure that employees receive adequate training in the understanding of and use of the HSE system
• General HSE management in accordance with applicable laws and regulations
• Participate in all safety work within the company
• Perform internal and external audits
• Provide training in, and process deviations and complaints and communicate the results to those involved
• Investigation and causal analysis in connection with deviations and undesirable events
• Contribute with follow-up of health, environment, and safety work
• Government contact in quality, health, and environmental matters
• Help document and report HSEQ results. Follow up Intelex, the Companies NC and continuous improvement system
• Follow the company's quality assurance, environment and HSE instructions / procedures
• If necessary, participate in other work tasks
• Report and follow up deviations

Required

• University degree within QHSE
• In-depth knowledge of Norwegian QHSE regulations
• Experienced professional with extensive knowledge of QHSE, with a minimum 3-5 years' experience in similar role
• Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions
• Works independently; receives minimal guidance
• Uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products/ services or processes
• Typically resolves complex problems or problems where precedent may not exist
• Is required to have an awareness of latest technical/legal developments and communicate to segment management as necessary
• Communication skills, written and oral, Norwegian and English
• Excellent computer skills, experience with 365, MS Office and SharePoint
