As our Head of Global Leadership, Talent Management & Talent Acquisition, you will be responsible for establishing a corporate Centre of Excellence where attracting, selecting, developing and retaining talent will be your focus every day.

In this role you will get a unique opportunity to put your skills and experience to action by setting up a new unit in the Group People & Organization (P&O) team. The success of this team will be crucial on our quest to become a P&O lighthouse for the industry. 

You will be expected to challenge the entire organization with innovative practices aimed to grow a pipeline of Hurtigruten leaders on all levels, while making sure our talents are given the opportunity to thrive and develop. Top management on both Group and company level will be key stakeholders to effectively manage our talent pools across the Group. Building a strong relation with our local People teams will be important to develop and test concepts in an agile way.

To succeed in this role, you possess passion and skills for developing and delivering leadership and talent management initiatives in an international enterprise. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of aligning business needs with talent pools and facilitating talent management processes from experts and managers up to the CxO level.

You will be accountable for our global leadership and talent agenda. The role will be an important member of the Group People & Organization leadership team and will report directly to the VP of Group People & Organization (CHRO).

Duties and responsibilities

  • Accountable for developing, implementing, and facilitating innovative Leadership and Talent Management initiatives aligning business needs with our talent pools.
  • Accountable for developing innovative Talent Acquisition frameworks and selecting the appropriate digital channels to get in touch with the best external talents.
  • Responsible for corporate learning initiatives in cooperation with the business stakeholders
  • Build and lead a Global Leadership, Talent Management & Talent Acquisition team
  • Be an active and supporting team member in the Group People & Organization Leadership team 

Qualifications

  • Minimum a master’s degree in related fields (e.g. People Development, Psychology)
  • Minimum 10 years relevant work experience with proven successful delivery of business-driven leadership and talent management practices
  • Experience with making the connection between building and managing internal talent pools, and complementing these pools by attracting new talent from the external market
  • Experience with managing a corporate team of specialists in a multinational organization
  • Fluent in English, spoken and written
