The interest from many other manufacturers to realize the same benefits, Aarbakke with support from their partner Cognite is launching a new company which will bring these solutions and more to manufacturers in Norway, and beyond, who are ready to truly capture the benefits of digital technologies!

Description

The CEO is a visionary and dynamic leader who is able to establish and guide the organization in its initial first years to become a solid business. The CEO will be responsible for setting the direction - communicating and implementing the company's vision, mission and overall strategy. The job is to build a new Industrial Software company utilizing the unique starting point of Aarbakke’s Smart Factory concept built on top of Cognite Data Fusion. The CEO will leverage relationships of Aarbakke, Cognite and other partners to develop business and build a broad customer base to achieve company objectives.

Profile

The right profile has first-hand experience with Digital Transformation in the manufacturing industry, combined with an entrepreneurial mindset, outstanding organizational skills, and forward-leaning leadership. The candidate should have a broad network and possess the “know how” to utilize the market potential. Further, the candidate should have familiarity with a broad spectrum of functions ideally including software development, marketing, business development, finance, etc. The profile is a fast mover with analytical capabilities and problem-solving skills that allows him/her to follow the fast pace of Aarbakke and Cognite.

Qualifications

• M.S. in relevant discipline - preferably technical profile.
• MBA, or similar is an advantage.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Broad understanding of software products category, technologies and services.
• Good communication skills and strong public speaking skills.
• Fluency in English. 

Experience

• 10+ years in leadership positions, industrial experience. 
• Solid understanding of digitalization and technologies such as: IoT platforms, Advanced Analytics, MES, etc.
• Established network among customers and potential partners. 
• Experience in building high performance teams.
