And now we are seeking for Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for Norway that dives into Blockchain technology, Artificial Intelligence, and cryptocurrencies.  

Reporting to the company’s Chief Executive Officer, the CTO will be responsible for oversight of Iagon’s short and long-term technical and engineering strategy, and providing high-level, forward-thinking vision. The CTO will provide sound technical leadership to all aspects of the company's technological development. The ideal candidate is a technical leader with demonstrable expertise in cloud computing. This person must have robust experience working, and familiarity with blockchain products. Iagon’s new CTO must be visionary with proven ability to effectively translate technical terminology to all stakeholders and be able to display credibility in lending expertise to a high-performing and expanding team.

Wanted qualifications:

• Recent demonstrated experience in building and managing of world-class technology platforms 

• Minimum bachelor/MS in engineering, Computer Science, Machine learning or similar relevant field

• In-depth knowledge of Blockchain technologies 

• Deep understanding of cryptocurrencies  

• Hands on experience with complex project management

• Excellent communication skills and experience working with remote team members

• Ability to think and act proactively and strategically 

• Good English knowledge is required, Norwegian or other Scandinavian language is advantage

Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic guidance of all technology and engineering-related decisions, including product roadmap, to maximize the company's future growth and profitability

• Discover and implement new technologies that yield competitive advantage

• Use stakeholders’ feedback to inform necessary improvements and adjustments to technology

• Oversee the hiring and management of all technology-related staff, consultants, and 3rd party vendors (engineers, data scientists, IT personnel, QA testing resource, etc.)

• Make recommendations for platform improvements, and any other innovations that could be beneficial for Iagon AS, based on technological research

• Track, analyze and monitor technology performance metrics

• Oversee all system design and changes in system architecture

• Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in the technology landscape

• Take the initiative in thought leadership, innovation, and creativity
