Sourcing Manager

Role and responsibilities

The Sourcing Manager is responsible for strengthening the company's supply chain with long-term and strategic suppliers, to achieve the company's overall goals related to Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). 

Your areas of responsibility will be:

• The Sourcing Manager will be responsible for preparing procurement strategies for selected categories, as well as carrying out procurement activities in accordance with approved action plans
• Lead and work together with other departments in crossfunctional teams
• Lead sourcing activities in projects
• Contribute to the identification and qualification of new suppliers
• Carry out inquiry processes, negotiations, and agreements with selected suppliers to reduce cost (TCO)
• Maintain contact with suppliers to follow up performance and develop cooperation with the company's strategic suppliers
• Ensure well defined specifications and requirements
• Contribute to operational purchasing, including placing orders and follow-up of deliveries

Education

Master or Bachelor, within relevant professions.

Experience

• Experience from operational and/or strategic Supply Chain activities
• Negotiation Skills
• Experience with ERP systems

Personality

• Accuracy, flexibility, and high determination
• Result oriented with a drive for continuous improvements
• Good communication and cooperation skills
