As Unilever’s Demand Planner you will be responsible for your portfolio’s demand forecast and the operational execution.

You are expected to work closely together with the sales function to build an integrated volume plan, analyze and understand underlying changes in the forecasts and to manage short-term requests from the business and build long term capacity plans with sourcing units across Europe. Since you collaborate with different stakeholders and functions you need to have good communication and influencing skills. We appreciate that you are self-motivated, work independently, and have the excitement and passion for making improvements.

 

Key responsibilities

  •  Deliver integrated volume plan (0-24 months rolling) for your portfolio
  • Highlight changes and gaps in the demand plan towards the sales function
  • Understand past and future assumptions, risks and opportunities
  • Understand and apply statistical models, depending on historical patterns and horizons using exception-based planning
  • SC business partner to sales, marketing and other functions
  • Report, analyze, understand and deliver KPI´s (Volume Bias, Volume Accuracy, Product availability, Stock cover optimization)
  • Manage short term demand requests and problem solving
  • Translate potential supply risks and ensure clear communication to internal and external customers
  • Manage Master Data for the local portfolio
  • Drive the Supply Chain responsibility in the innovation process


Do you see a match?

We are looking for a person who has:

  • University degree in Economics or Engineering preferably within Supply Chain/Logistics
  • Strong numerical & analytical skills
  • Strong Excel skills (Power BI a bonus)
  • Good knowledge of SAP or other ERPs preferred
  • Interest towards Supply Chain
  • Good knowledge of English both spoken and written
  • Takes challenges head-on, and have ownership of your area of responsibilities
  • Enjoys to work outside of their comfort zone, tolerates pressure and quickly adapts to changes
