Sales Director Ingredients to ScanBio Marine Group

ABOUT THE POSITION

ScanBio Margin Group is hiring a Sales Director Ingredients that will be responsible for all Ingredients-related sales and marketing activities in the company.

Reporting

• The Sales Director Ingredients shall report directly to the CEO of ScanBio Marine Group
• Export – logistics, product development and marketing functions report to the Sales Director Ingredients (4 employees). 

Description of responsibilities

Primary responsibilities

• Drive growth of business in areas favourable for the company. 
• Develop and implement an annual marketing plan that reflects the company's goals and ambitions 
• Work actively to extend the company’s customer base in order to diversify risk and opportunities
• Supervise recruitment, development and management of the sales department.
• Defines annual sales budget and forecasting of sales on various products and markets
• Take a proactive role in contract negotiations with business relations
• Develop and maintain a strong personal relationship with all existing and potential customers of the company

Other responsibilities

• Implement and follow up relevant progress reporting systems to applicable levels in the company
• Oversee the collection of receivables and work closely together with the finance department in order to monitor and adjust the relevant credit procedures of the company
• Ensure that the sales department is updated on the company’s inventory of finished goods, which includes volumes, values and product mix
• Follow applicable procedures, legal and regulatory requirements relevant for the company and employees in general and comply with a high standard of work ethics and moral

Profile

The ideal candidate will likely possess the following qualifications:

• Life sciences / agriculture-related Education and/or 4 to 10-year experience in an area connected to aquaculture, feed, feed additives, petfood, agribusiness
• Proven experience in managing a sales portfolio and market development. 
• Strong negociation skills
• Great marketing capacity, and ability to analyse market dynamics 
• Solid financial awareness and ability to control and analyse sales performance
