You will be key contributor to our team, strengthening Altera Infrastructure's Project Controls standards and industry best practices in accordance to AACE guidelines to facilitate controls in the management of conceptual studies, Pre-FEED, FEED, EPCI projects.

Some of the things you will be accountable for 

  • Coordinate and support the development of Project Controls policies, procedures, systems & tools (Planning & Scheduling, Cost Control, Progress Measurement).
  • Ensure Project Controls standards, policies, and procedures are adhered to on all projects.
  • Accountable for the management of all planning and scheduling efforts for all projects in the home office including bid proposals, Pre-FEED and Execution. 
  • Accountable for the management of all cost control efforts including change management for all projects in the home office for bid proposals, Pre-FEED and Execution. 
  • Work with Estimating and Commercial to interpret cost estimates into pricing per client requirements.
  • Accountable for the development of project contingencies, work closely with Risk Manager in interpreting risks identified for the development of contingencies.
  • Support Yard and Vendor Contracts Manager in adherence to contract T&Cs relating to cost and schedule issues at the yard.

What we are looking for

  • You have 10+ years of experience in oil and gas industry within the Project Controls function.
  • Minimum 5+ years of project experience as Project Controls Manager at the yard.
  • You hold a Technical education at Bachelor level, Masters preferred, with additional business and commercial education/ documented training
  • You have a strategic and organized mindset and systematic approach to work; self-starter/ proactive; able to multi-task competing priorities and still meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in common computer applications with exceptional MS Excel skills and proficient in using Primavera P6 software.
  • You have strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Experience from managing and working with a multi-disciplined team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written English in report writing, presentations, diplomacy and assertiveness is demanded. Norwegian language capability is an advantage.
  • You are flexible on travels.
