YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As a key player of the implementation of the "Network Transformation” and the “Dealer Value Proposition” of BRP, the Dealer Development Advisor Norway provides support to the Norwegian dealer network to improve their focus on Retail and Consumer Experience while increasing their profitability to continue to develop their business with BRP. She/he is also responsible for the optimization coverage of Norway as well as to recruit new dealerships and support them throughout their lifecycle with BRP.

The Dealer Development Advisor works closely with the local sales team in our Trondheim office as well as with the EMEA headquarter functional teams. This role reports primarily to the Regional Commercial Manager Norway with a dotted line to the Network Development Manager EMEA. The scope includes dealerships covering the brands Can-Am ® Off-road and On-road Spyder and Ryker vehicles, Sea-Doo® watercraft as well as Lynx® and Ski-Doo® snowmobiles.


The responsibilities are:

Elaborate the Network Development Plan in Norway:

  • Identify, evaluate uncovered areas and prioritize with support of EMEA headquarter
  • Ensure proper network coverage to increase sales of BRP Norward Norway while protecting existing network leverage dealer “primary market area” methodology.

Implement the network plan:

  • Identify, visit and evaluate potential new dealer partners in the uncovered areas identified
  • Coordinate set-up and onboarding process of the chosen new partners
  • Coordinate Performance Improvement Plan when needed and replacements in case of termination or buyout
  • Participate in dealer agreement renewal process

Support dealer’s growth and consumer experience focus

  • Assist dealers with tailored tools and expertise to support the growth of their BRP business and their profitability with consumer focus best practices.
  • Support dealers in the implementation dealer retail environment projects and exterior signage in collaboration with functional teams.

Participate in new tools and process deployment:

  • Train dealers and colleagues on network development new tools deployed as part of the BRP’s “Network Transformation” and “Dealer Value Proposition” such as Certification Program.
  • Ensure all stakeholders in Norway are aware of all new initiatives and full onboard.


YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • University Degree in Business, Sales or related fields. Equivalent relevant experience is accepted.
  • Experience within a commercial/distribution network in sales or dealer development role.
  • Experience in a related industry to Powersports (Motorcycle, Automotive, Boating, Recreational industries) or experience in coordinating a network of franchise retail stores.
  • Experience of working in a European environment is a plus
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Norwegian mother tongue and fluent in English


This position is based anywhere in Norway (home office) with frequent travel throughout Norway, sporadically to Europe and to the BRP Norwegian office in Trondheim (Norway) 100-120 days a year
