Andøya Space Orbital is looking for a key account manager to be the primary point of contact for launch service providers wishing to launch from Andøya. The role of the key account manager is to establish the launch mission objectives and priorities of new customers, assess the feasibility of launching from Andøya within the launch schedule, estimate costs, ensure technical and commercial risks are addressed, prepare commercial proposals, co-ordinate resources to plan and deliver the mission, and follow the mission through to delivery to ensure that customer service expectations are met.
This is a key customer facing role promoting Andøya space Orbital capabilities and securing continuation of launch business. It demands commercial experience combined with communications skills. An awareness of the small satellite launch market and a knowledge of orbital launch operations and technology is preferable. He or she must secure the respect of both clients and the delivery team to deliver an efficient and responsive launch service to clients and enhance the reputation of Andøya Space Orbital in the Space industry.

Working tasks / responsibilities

Cultivate new customers, acquire & close new business, maintain quality of service to existing partners
Determine customer needs and priorities
Promote Andøya Space Orbital capabilities
Prepare commercial proposals
Track launch missions end-end to ensure customer needs are satisfied

Qualification / education

Business development expertise
Experience in international sales is an advantage; national key account experience and proven record essential
Bid preparation experience
Proficient language skills in English (written and oral). Norwegian is not essential.
Experienced in IT and office applications
The position requires the individual to qualify for a Norwegian security clearance

The position is located at Andøya in an international working environment. Pay will be negotiated upon hire, good pensions and welfare schemes, good staff insurance and social benefits. Working hours are flexible. We cover expences related to moving costs.
