OVERVIEW OF ROLE
The Quality Manager is responsible for the effective management of Quality Assurance and Quality Control; delivering quality management and improvement support to all projects and functions within the designated area of responsibility.
You contribute to creating a positive HSEQ culture within Subsea 7 and ensure familiarity with and adherence to relevant HSEQ codes and practices.
As part of your role, you support and uphold a culture of ethics and integrity within Subsea 7 and ensure familiarity with and adherence to our Code of Conduct.
Key responsibilities:
- Contribute to creating and champion a culture of Quality Leadership by acting as a catalyst for step-change in quality performance, fostering excellent working relationships with other internal functions
- Provide quality business partnering and advice to key stakeholders
- Contribute significantly to the ongoing direction and development of the Quality Department
- Ensure compliance with quality policies, processes and procedures
- Support and guide quality personnel in all matters relating to the application and implementation of the company management system
- Promote the use of quality and knowledge management tools to perform in accordance with best practice, striving to mitigate risk, promoting safety, quality and integrity consistently
- Effectively measure the Quality and Management System performance utilising internal audits, non-compliance analysis etc. and ensure high visibility of reporting on findings, initiatives etc.
- Support the tracking of cost of non-quality performance, trends, and reporting in the designated area
- Support strategies for minimising the cost of non-quality and promote the concept of ownership across the group
- Provide input into the production of an annual quality action plan, and achieving its goals
- Support the development of direct reports through clearly understood roles, responsibilities and performance objectives, regular feedback and continual professional training
- Non-conformity maintenance and tracking, identifying opportunities for improvement
- Ensure the effective implementation and maintenance of ISO 9001 standard
Qualifications:
- Broad experience with Quality Management
- Good level of general education required, preferably supported by a Quality Management degree or equivalent
- Industry approved Lead Auditor training and experience
- Broad understanding of subsea products and operations
- Experience of working within the subsea offshore or related industry, some of which must be in a dedicated Quality position
- Ideally 5 years’ experience working in an EPCI quality environment
- Experience with leading and managing teams

- Structured and organised with good attention to details
