The Manager Quality, HS&E is responsible for leading, planning, directing and coordinating all matters related to quality and compliance of HSE.
The main objective of this position, within quality, is the management of establishing an independent quality assurance system to monitor compliance of the Part 145 with the regulatory authority requirements. This is to ensure quality standards are met and to improve accuracy of services to Aero Norway’s customers, vendors or partners in accordance to procedures and standards to achieve long term business growth and profitability goals.
Also, ensure effective management of all activities in the company related to the health and safety development, implementation, maintenance of, and compliance with the company's policies, procedures, and standards governing the safety of all material and personnel assets of the company.
Education
Bachelors degree or equivalent is required; preferably in Aeronautical/aerospace Engineering or current B1/B2 Inspector rating.
In addition, the position holder is required to meet the current requirements from CAA-N as per Part 145.30.
Experience and skills/Knowledge
Must have at least 10 years QHSE experience with preferably 3 years in a management role. Quality/HSE systems and experience within quality system development i.e. ISO regulations or aviation regulations.
As part of the position, extensive familiarity & knowledge of Regulation (EU) No 1321/2014 and in particular Annex 1 and 2 (Part M and Part 145)
Comprehensive knowledge of current Norwegian HSE legislation and preferably ISO (14001/ 9001) practices and procedures.
Fluent English language skills; verbal, reading and writing. Any other languages are an advantage.
Excellent presentation and training skills in order to induct and train personnel, strong skills in planning and execution.
Capability to analyse data and drive changes in the organisation.
Ability to lead and coach a team of QHSE professionals including skills in directly managing people/teams in a high performance and technically organization.
