Senior Project Manager - Orkla Confectionery & Snacks (OC&S) Operations Team

You will be part of a highly competent and relevant task force to move production from two sites to a new state-of-the-art factory outside Riga (“Project Anna”). The work will involve stakeholders at high level in Orkla and the contributions and results will be visible in this prestigious project.

Responsibilities

You will take the lead role for one of Orkla’s key strategic projects to make “Project Anna” a success. Together with a highly competent and motivated team your main tasks would be to:

• Design and implement the new Anna Operating Model working closely with Operations 
• Plan, coordinate and implement on site operations in Project Anna and across OC&S manufacturing sites 
• Plan, organize and steer own project deliverables and be the consolidating force and topic expert within own area in project Anna
• Responsible for project planning and follow-up within Project Anna and support the S&OP workstream
• Responsible to deliver targeted impact on time in project Anna according to set plan
• Work hand in hand with Project Management, Operations receiving and other workstreams in project Anna to achieve set targets and deploy capabilities in the receiving organization
• Responsibility for BU client and related stakeholders involve VP and COO when needed.
• Structure and develop documentation to continuously develop OC&S/Orkla expertise on area including specific learnings in projects
• Plan and execute Operations improvement projects, secure needed expertise and skills are in place to realize target potential

Experience and Qualifications

You are today probably working as Manager/Director in a management consulting company with experience from several turnarounds/start-up for larger industrial factories and would like to make a career shift to one of the leading companies in the industry.

We expect you to hold a Master/Bachelor degree or equivalent within relevant field, together with solid (+7 years) relevant work experience or work experience with strong track record from role on level applied to.

Language skills:

• English (written/oral)
• Scandinavian language preferred but not required
