Head of HR Sea and Shore

Gearbulk is looking for a person who can lead our human resources agenda both offshore and onshore.

Heading up the Group’s Global HR team of HR, Crewing and training professionals, the job holder will partner with key business managers to identify and implement HR and Crewing initiatives and support and maintain HR policies and procedures.

The job holder will also be responsible to implement the Group’s HR strategy.
The successful candidate will have a detailed understanding of human resource management and proven success in a similar role within an international maritime environment.

Applicants should have strong communication and leadership skills, previous management experience and good organization and coordinating skills.
High working capacity and the ability to deliver results at a strategic level are critical success factors.

Your background:

• HR, Maritime HR, or other relevant combined education related to HR and administration on Bachelor/Master-level.
  
  
• Minimum 5 years HR leadership experience within international HR, Sea and Shore.
  
  

We expect you to be a high-level IT-user and hold a strong command of English.
The position reports to Managing Director and is based in Bergen, Norway.
