About the position

Lead and direct the human resource functions for OTIS businesses in Norway. Ensure planning and implementation of human resource programs and strategies to support tactical and operational needs of

the business. Exercise corporate stewardship and ensure compliance with applicable company's policies and procedures.


Duties of the position

Performance Management

  • Support the line-management team in effectively performing Performance Management
  • Manage incentive programs which maximize engagement towards delivering on key annual objectives

 

Organizational Development & Employement Cost Management

  • Monthly reporting according to requirements of both area (European) & local (Norway) requirements
  • Compensation planning
  • Managing succession plans and developmental plans, designed to back-fill business critical roles
  • Lead a targeted recruitment process (Internal & External) to ensure the company are attracting the right skills to execute on both short & long terms strategic goals
  • Owner of the field apprentice program - deliver highly skilled field mechanics to the operation on an annual basis
  • Lead and support the line-management on organizational changes

 

Employee Engagement & Talent Development

  • Lead Employee Engagement Processes and support operation on actions and improvement initiatives
  • Develop and lead engagement Initiatives throughout the organization
  • Secure training and development plans for all employees.
  • Lead AMU and IA work

 

Industrial relations

  • Lead or participate in the collective agreement/bargaining process on an annual basis, coordinating efforts of all groups, towards maximizing opportunities and driving change.

 

Communication

  • Manage and coordinate Internal communication initiatives in both Norway and Nordic region (Norway, Sweden, Finland)
  • Leading external Employer Branding communication, -initiatives and -platforms

 

HR Standard Processes

  • Ensure implementation and flawless execution of HR standard processes
  • Secure Otis Norway to be in compliant with Norwegian laws and regulations within HR & employment
  • Formulate and implement plans, programs, procedures and standards as required relating to labor relations, salary/hourly organization, employee relations, placement, recruiting, compensation, training, employee information, management personnel planning and development.
  • Lead and develop in-house payroll function and manage external payroll vendor
  • Supporting the line-management in the process of - Support : Challenge : Coach
  • Administration. (Master files of employees, salaries, history, performance, individual cases etc.)

Qualifications
  • Degree in business management and/or HR management
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in an operational HR position
  • Experience with labor relations
  • Project Management skills / experience
  • Experience to work in an international work environment, with multinational Corporations
  • Ability to foster change and promote and implement improvement
  • Teamwork, strong relationship building
  • Strong and effective communication skills
  • Experience in labor relations
