MM Aviation, Program Manager with IT background

You will be exposed to most aspect of a high-end IT company. Technical sales, pricing and marketing, writing specification and requirements, support and maintenance, test/verification and of course SW engineering/systems development. MM Aviation has been awarded a contract with a large US defence contractor which involve delivery of inflight real-time information services to both civilian and air force aircraft in Norway and internationally and you will be directly involved in the delivery of this contract.

Skills / Experience

• Project / Program management: You will be managing multiple IT/Systems projects covering specification, planning, budget, development, test and installation. Experience with agile project management is essential

o You must be experienced with managing both inhouse and external consultant development resources

• Bid manager: You will be involved and manage responds to tenders / RFQ

• SW development: MM Aviation is a SW/IT focused company. You must have some background/experience with SW development and ideally be able to take part in some SW development activities: Technologies; Visual Studio, C#, .NET, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, .Net, .Net Core, C#, HTML, CSS, TypeScript, JavaScript, Angular.IO

• Test management: You will be responsible for test planning and execution.

• Aviation: It is beneficial if you have some experience from the aviation industry

Formal qualifications

• Degree in Information technology or similar area of relevance

General qualifications and personal traits

• Language skills: You must master the English language fluently

• Occasionally there will be international travel, a passport with unrestricted travel is required

• You may be required to pass security clearance by official security authorities both civil and military

• Driver’s license 

• You must enjoy working in small close teams and be passionate about sharing your knowledge

• Passion for aviation is a great advantage
