HR Advisor - Oslo thyssenkrupp Norge
We are looking for an HR Advisor with a sense of numbers and analysis in Oslo.
You will support the Nordic countries (Denmark, Norway and Sweden) as well as being an HR adviser in the local Norwegian organization. You will report to the Head of HR Nordic.
Your roll will be a part of controlling in the Nordic countries that’s going on all ready now. You will work in depth with this area, in close cooperation with the Head HR Nordic, who is placed in Denmark, to which you will refer.
Tasks related to the Nordic countries
- Reporting weekly and sometimes daily to headquarters on HR related topic
- Monitoring numbers of hiring and terminations flow, such as turnover and retention rates etc, to be reviewed with the Nordic HR manager, which in the end, must be presented on operational reporting meetings monthly.
- You will be the point of contact for gathering HR related data, statistics that involve daily communication with Swedish, Danish and Norwegian HR staff.
- Creating best practice in the Nordic countries.
- Suggesting new HR technology solutions to improve day-to-day operations (software)
- Providing advice and playing a major role in work reviews and change processes
Other tasks will be to contribute locally in Norway to various operational HR tasks
- Getting HR operational on place from an execution point of view with recruitment, onboarding, performance/training, compensation & benefits.
- Monitoring, reviewing and updating all HR policies and ensuring these are in line with current legislation
- Dealing with various HR queries throughout the business
- Negotiating terms and conditions of employment with staff
- Driving the business performance in relation to target-setting, people management skills
- Managing staff relationships, responding to any queries or problems that they have and managing their expectations
- Researching and recommending performance evaluation methods (e.g. employee appraisal systems)
- Assisting in organizing employer branding initiatives
- Supporting the HR responsible in Norway with various capability investigations, including grievance and disciplinary

Desired skills and experience
You have an academic education in HR or you have been working in a HR Advisor role with some administration part in a matrix organization. You have an understanding of economics, statistics and a good knowledge of Excel - It will also be an advantage if you have knowledge of Visma, SAP and HR processes. As to the labor legislation, labor relations you have a good understanding and have experience from practice how to deal with these topics.
As a person, you are committed, persistent and results-oriented. You work systematically and methodically and at the same time have a good overview. Finally, you are good at collaborating and able to communicate at all levels of the organization in English and Scandinavian language. There will probably travel days.
