In Bergen, we have a small team of Vessel Managers, making sure that is the case. And now that team need a new colleague.

Your responsibilities: 

• Technical and financial management of vessels
• Prepare and follow up action plans, monitor maintenance and budgets, including the planning of yard stay and docking.
• Follow up flag state, class and customer requirements
• Monitoring of vessel performance
• Coordinating the daily operation between the vessels, management and client.

Your background: 

• Higher education within marine technology/ engineering, MSc./BSc., and 3-5 years of relevant experience in the management of vessels. 
• Or, higher maritime education and experience as an engineer or navigational officer or similar position as Vessel Manager/Superintendent.
• We expect you to be a high-level IT-user, and hold a strong command of English and any of the Scandinavian languages both verbal and written.
