This position will report to the VP Asset Lifecycle Management.


Core Responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility for organizing, storing and analyzing available asset data as efficiently as possible, while always upholding agreed-upon company security standards;
  • Contribute to the development, execution, and supervision of plans, policies, programs, and practices that deliver, control, protect, and enhance the value of data and information assets throughout their lifecycles;
  • Act as the custodian of the company’s OSIsoft PI systems and shall have the overall responsibility for the development, utilization, operation and maintenance of the same. 


Duties

  • Contribute in the development, implementation and sustainability of strategies and programs for Performance Data Management as part of the company’s Asset Lifecycle management strategy;
  • Contribute in ensuring performance data management governance is established and maintained as part of the company Management System (MS) and the company Asset Lifecycle Management strategies;
  • Ensure available asset data is contextualized, analyzed and fed back to the relevant stakeholder(s) for optimization of processes and continuous development and learning;
  • Ensure OSIsoft systems are established, developed, maintained and optimized throughout the lifecycle of the company assets;
  • Provide advice, support and assistance in the implementation of the Performance Data Management programs;
  • Assist in the promotion of an Asset Lifecycle Management culture in Yinson Production;
  • Monitor identified and emerging risks and advise on their prevention, mitigation and management;
  • Recognize barriers within the organization, and assist in developing initiatives to address these;
  • Attend meetings as required and actively participating in the group’s work;
  • Be an advocate for the Performance Data Management program’s outcomes;
  • Be committed to, and actively involved in, pursuing the company Asset Lifecycle Management program’s outcomes;
  • Visit offshore units and onshore offices on a regular basis.


Qualifications & experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and/or Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field;
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in data management and/or analysis;
  • Ability to decipher and organize large amounts of data;
  • An analytical mindset with excellent communication and problem-solving skills;
  • Experience from larger project-based companies within the offshore industry, including operational and project management experience is preferable.

  • Structured, accurate and ability to take full ownership of own areas of responsibility;
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills;
  • An ability to interact proactively with management and staff at all levels of the organisation;
  • Good problem-solving skills;
  • Good organisational and administrative skills, including strong attention to quality of work, details, and the ability to prioritise and control own workload;
  • Fluent in written and verbal English.
