Your role

We are looking for a Project Manager, Large projects to our Investments function in Fortum City Solutions. Our present investment regions are Finland, Norway, Baltics and Poland, but we are looking for new investment opportunities also in other Eastern Europe countries, UK and South-East Asia. During the execution phase of your projects, the working place can be agreed accordingly.

First investment under your project management responsibility will be our new Plastic Recycling plant at Hobøl, 45 minutes' drive from Oslo. As a Project manager you will organize and lead project team's work to ensure targets in terms of occupational safety, delivery time, cost and quality.

Our project execution model is mainly based on close co-operation with EPCM (engineering, procurement and construction management) consultant and contractors of several lots. Focus of our function is project execution management and support to investment development.

Your qualifications

You have an academic degree (M.Sc.) in Engineering. You have industrial work experience of minimum 10 years in process industry and project management. Knowledge in recycling technologies and especially plastics is seen as an advantage. You are familiar with people management and leadership. Experience in procurements in an international environment is also appreciated.

As a person you have self-initiative, have positive attitude, drive for results and you feel comfortable working in our multi-cultural network. You have a fluent command of both spoken and written in English and one of the Scandinavian language.
