In the company's sales processes, the Technical Sales Director is responsible for all deliveries related to engineering, installation, commissioning, operation and maintenance. In this process, he or she must work in a team with sales and technical resources. The Technical Sales Director is a member of the management team for Nel Alkaline and VP Operations.

Your areas of responsibility will be:

  • Increasing Nel's competitiveness in close cooperation with our customers
  • Be a technical lead in presentations and discussions
  • Be technical support in sales processes
  • Support the procurement function in achieving improved products and reduce costs
  • Develop technical documentation


  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience from a similar position in relevant industry
  • Experience from working internationally
  • Strong language skills in English, oral and written, and preferably other languages


University degree (BSc, MSc or equivalent) in relevant subjects


  • Sales orientation in combining strong technical expertise with a commercial approach
  • Good analytical skills and the ability to base decisions on facts from market, sales channels and customers
  • Customer centricity in developing new or improved solutions
  • Team player who nourish cooperation across disciplines
  • Good communication and collaboration skills
