Network Architect

Summary Job Description

The senior resource act as Network Architect under minimal supervision. Resource will be responsible for plan, design, implement & troubleshoot network infrastructure. He will be help to redesign the network infra. Should also able to provide guidance to project teams on medium sized to large projects while working closely with project stakeholders.

Key Accountabilities:

• End-to-End Network infrastructure design, implementation & migration.
• Checkpoint firewall design, implementation & migration.
• Troubleshoot complex issues related to ongoing infra.
• Leads, shapes, structures and drives medium and large consulting assignments using best practices and methodologies. Solicits and is receptive to input and feedback from team members, pursues continuous learning with others in teams, works to create and maintain cooperation among team members, and adapts behaviour and communication style to be effective in the situation. Treats all team members with respect.
• Provide solution as per customer need & requirement. Proactively positions the company for additional/added value work.
• Participates in proposals, creates content and/or solution. Ensures quality estimates, leveraging past data, experience, other forms of estimation, other teams, etc.
• Aligning the solution being recommended with the client Strategic direction, managing exceptions, and effectively communicating solutions and their justification to relevant stakeholders.

Key Competencies

• Skill Category – Network & Security.
• Skills –Cisco Network, checkpoint firewall, Cisco ISE,Azure cloud networking.
• Experience - min 8+ years of experience in Plan, design, Build, migrate and troubleshoot of Cisco Network & checkpoint firewall.
• Certification – Cisco CCNP/CCIE, checkpoint firewall certified (Azure Public cloud admin will have additional benefit).

•    Associate would be required to understand High level, low-level design of Network Infra. Should able to help in migration of existing network infra to Cloud infra.
•    Exposure to Cisco ISE, cisco prime tool, checkpoint firewall etc. Able to help in troubleshooting for complex issues.

Knowledge

• Strong Knowledge of cisco routing & switching along with checkpoint firewall security.
• Should have knowledge of cisco ISE.
• Experience of design & implementation of large network with best industry solution.
• Experience on design & implementation for firewall security, cisco ISE.
• Strong experience with MS Tools: MS Project, Visio, Powerpoint, Word, Excel.
• Fluent Norwegian and English language skills (written, spoken) are a must have.
• Other European language skills is an advantage.
• Coordinate with Project Competency Leads and participate in project/system planning and recurring meetings.
• Collaborate with other team members to review prototypes and develop iterative revisions.

 
Experience

• Minimum of 10-12 years of relevant experience for cisco network & security.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience for network design, build & implement.
• Should worked on medium & large scale network migration.
• Previous consulting experience in complex multi-national organisation.

Qualifications

• CCNP/CCIE.
• Checkpoint certified.
