As VP Strategic Branding, you will support the delivery of the next phases of Hurtigruten's ambitious expansion plans. This includes the introduction of more ground-breaking hybrid expedition vessels; expanding operations to new geographies; exploring new business opportunities and increasing attractivity towards new segments of guests.
The role is key to globally further develop Hurtigruten's brand and to attract new markets and segments communicating and delivering on one premium brand experience across the business. Our global brand position is key for our commercial success moving forward. You will set the direction and lead the development based on deep understanding of customers, markets and the commercial value chain.
You have an innovative, cost effective and digital mindset as to how brands are being built, delivered and managed, and you master conceptual design thinking in developing communications as well as products and services.
You will be part of a Global team and report to the Chief Marketing Officer. You will work across the organization securing the brand is understood, communicated and delivered as an wholistic brand experience ensuring that our guests want to explore with us, repeatedly.

Tasks
- Own and drive strategy processes on brand and marketing across markets.
- Plan and implement appropriate global brand KPI's and report on KPI's.
- Report and guide markets on brand development and business impact.
- Develop and manage Hurtigruten's brand platform as a strategic tool that drives the global position according to company goals - in line with business, commercial and communications strategies.
- Develop a customer insight platform that supports business decisions across the business.
- Develop and standardize customer insight and marketing analytical tools on qualitative and quantitative research.
- Perform research and interpret research and analysis into insight forming strategies.
- Develop MarCom Strategies to support brand directions and guide briefing processes in close cooperation with operational teams.
- Manage strategic design and direct service deliveries.
- Manage brand intellectual properties.
- Connect the dots in brand and marketing by providing a full value chain view on consumer driven strategies.
- Develop brand concepts for product and service deliveries and work across units to guide and train conceptual deliveries.
Qualifications
- Master's degree within business, marketing, communication, brand management or equivalent with proven strong academic results.
- Minimum 5 years' experience from international senior strategic brand roles, preferably with digital at core.
- Excellent commercial understanding and strong market orientation
- Fluent in oral and written English. Other language skills would be considered a plus.
