As a Technical Application Consultant you’ll gather and analyze requirements from clients and assist in translating functional requirements into a good technical solution for the client. The Technical Application Consultant is the connection between understanding the client business needs and the technical solutions setup and installation. As you will perform product-related activities such as installation, configuration and troubleshooting issues you also need the ability to give qualified advice and suggest solution alternatives. You will be the connection between understanding the client business requirements and suggesting updates of the product to keep up with market standards. 

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot and change parameters in order to ensure functionality
• Promote use of standard products to meet client requirements 
• Support design, development and testing
• Third line support including cooperation with Product Development
• Support our clients to take lead in the global retail revolution, maintain a strong understanding of the client needs and bridge between development and Solution Operations.

Required Skills And Experience

• Newly educated Bachelor Degree in Computer science, IT, system development
• 0-4 years of experience
• Fluent in English, both verbal and writing
• Excellent language skills in written and spoken Norwegian
• Highly developed social competence and pedagogical skills
• SQL

Preferable skills and experience

• Experience from Retail
