Contract Manager

The position is a central role where the successful candidate will be involved in projects from tender to closure and will be responsible to ensure that all contractual issues are carefully dealt with in order to secure balanced risk and contract terms. The position will be responsible to execute and coordinate between project-, engineering-, commercial-, legal- and insurance departments in the company.  The work place is at our head office in Oslo, but some travelling must be expected.  

The position reports to Managing Director.

Arbeidsoppgaver

• Responsible for reviewing, update and implement contract & commercial management principles, standards and tools for the entities within the Fred. Olsen Windcarrier Group
• Responsible for reviewing and negotiate all customer contracts, charter parties and major subcontracts entered into prior to signature
• Contribute to new sales by supporting the commercial managers in the tender processes
• Align with insurance all contractual requirements prior to submission of Tender
• Review guarantee, bond requirements for all contracts, align guarantee requirements with internal legal, and ensure approval prior to signature of contract
• Map all major contractual liabilities and assist project managers to handle projects commercially and contractually according to contract with customer
• Control the contractual and risk performance  of the projects. Establish and develop the reports and feedback process. Participate in risk management processes.
• Review and approve all NDAs
• Implement and maintain contractual awareness in the organization 

Kvalifikasjoner

• Experience in negotiating and managing contracts
• Preferably minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience from the offshore wind-, offshore installation- or alternatively oil & gas industry and in addition experience with shipping charter parties would be an advantage
• Master or Bachelor level within engineering/technical with commercial and contractual mindset or economical background with interest and experience from relevant technical environments
  
• Highly relevant experience may to some degree replace formal education
  
• The candidate must master the English language fluently both orally and in writing
• Knowledge of one of the Scandinavian languages will be an advantage
