Vice President Technology and Product Development SAP Predictive Engineering Insights

Responsibilities

• Overall area of responsibility includes managing the research and physics development teams for the Predictive Engineering Insights solution, including Intellectual Property and knowledge and best practice management
• Works closely with Product Owner, Chief Architect, Chief Scientist, Chief Engineer, Cloud Development Team and Product Delivery Team and drives delivery of a development projects or programs.
• Continuously grows and stays ahead of trends in his/her field and contributes to area strategy in alignment with SAP strategic priorities
• Stay abreast of technology innovation in IoT and other engineering applications
• Oversee external technology assessments, partnering relationships and competitive analysis
• Manage and continuously improve the product development process
• Builds execution plan together with management team and monitors execution against business plan. Manages critical resource situations and their potential impact on business deliverables.

Required experience

• Master's degree /PhD in computer science or engineering and business administration or management
• Established track record from managing a technology organization from development to commercialization. Experience as line manager is a pre-requisite. Experience in project management essential.
• International experience, either as an international posting or active engagement with customers/partners overseas is essential
• Flair and passion for people management and agile software development
• Strong communicator, demonstrates intercultural sensitivity, results driven and emphasizes teamwork and collaboration
• Excellent English oral and written communication.

Location

• Trondheim, some travelling must be expected.
