You will be part of the corporate Digital Transformation project within ERAMET Group. The implementation of this project is key to reducing costs and improving productivity within all Group activities. The local Digital Transformation project Manager will report to the Management Group in Eramet Norway, but also functionally report to the Group Digital Transformation project Director in Paris. Office location can be either at the Norwegian headquarter in Porsgrunn or at the R&D department in Trondheim.

Core responsibilities:

To contribute to the Digital Transformation Roadmaps for his/her perimeter and the Group

  • To fuel the Groups Digital Transformation strategy with the challenges or his/her perimeter
  • To participate in theme-based workshops on ERAMETs business and technical priorities
  • To identify digital levers that can be scalable Group-wide
  • To contribute to the growth and promotion of a local ecosystem of partnerships (industrial partners, institutional partners, technological partners etc.) in line with the Groups ecosystem

To identify digital levers enabling value creation and build the Digital Transformation roadmap of his/her perimeter

  • To analyze current digital initiatives within his/her perimeter
  • To provide gap analysis studies on the as-is digital maturity level and the expected to-be maturity level
  • To evaluate local opportunities for digital levers based on Benchmark studies (internal/external) following a detailed mapping of current systems and processes
  • In line with the Groups strategy, to build the Digital Transformation strategy for his/her perimeter
  • To build the Digital Transformation roadmap and the associated Business Case for each activity for his/her perimeter
  • To make recommendations for prioritization with the Group Digital Transformation project Director and the Local General management team

To manage the Digital Transformation project for his/her perimeter

  • To participate to the Digital Committee that is meeting 3 to 4 times a year to present new POCs, current POCs, recommendations for industrialization and the monitoring of current deployment projects
  • To manage the Digital Transformation roadmap for his/her perimeter once it is officially supported by the local General Management team and the Group
  • To carry out the reporting on the roadmaps progress
  • To set up regular meetings with the Group Digital Transformation project Director and discuss current initiatives and identified risks
  • To adjust the course of action if necessary and prioritize in accordance with the local General Management team and the Group Digital Transformation project Director
  • To manage the POC portfolio, their deployment and the monitoring of larger-scale projects
  • To set up a benefit tracking system (POC and deployment projects) and analyze potential financial outcomes
  • To provide his/her perimeter with operational roadmaps
  • To accompany Digital Transformation within his/her perimeter in coordination with the RH Department (organizational support, training, etc.)

To be a Digital Transformation project Ambassador of his/her perimeter

  • To promote Digital Transformation within his/her perimeter and coordinate with the Group
  • To convince local teams on the merits of Digital Transformation and facilitate the transition

Desirable profile of candidates:

  • Postgraduate education at Master degree, ideally with a focus on Digital Transformation
  • Knowledge of industrial business processes or capacity to assimilate it quickly
  • Knowledge of new digital technologies and field applications
  • Knowledge of IT systems and industrial automatisms
  • Strong listening, analysis and synthetic skills
  • Project management and coordination of a wide range of contacts (internal/external)
  • Intellectual curiosity, technical skills and natural appetite for digital topics
  • Capacity to work in an agile method to demonstrate strong reactivity with stakeholders
  • Fluent in English
  • Communication and leadership skills
