Main tasks and expectations

Manage, monitor and follow up quality strategy, processes and deliverables across the drilling value chain
Ensure that proper quality plans are in place for supply of equipment and services
Analyse and recommend opportunities for business improvement
Coordinate work related to quality monitoring and improvement in the Drilling department and its operations
Supervise and facilitate the use of processes and tools related to quality in the Drilling department
Follow up, analyse and report on deviations and non-conformities related to quality, including internal interfaces and suppliers
Perform regular quality performance reporting to relevant stakeholders
Plan, provide input and participate in
- audits
- quality related investigations
- internal reviews
Provide quality related input to risk assessments
Provide feedback for improvement of the Drilling Management System

Experience

Minimum 10 years of experience related to Quality Management
Experience from the Oil & Gas industry and specifically from drilling operations

Qualifications

Bachelor/Master Degree in Engineering or similar education (experience may compensate for lack of formal ecucation)
Qualified to lead audits
Good knowledge of recognised quality standards

Personal skill

Good written and verbal communication skills
Structured and analytical skills
be able to work independently and in teams

Occational travel both onshore and offshore is required
