The Director Environment's main focus area will be to develop and implement the Elopak environmental strategy in line with our global responsibility to limit our environmental impact.

Elopak is one of the world's top three suppliers of packaging systems, and number one in the fresh segment. The position will be at Group Headquarters in Skøyen/Oslo. Job Description The Director Environment's main focus area will be to develop and implement the Elopak environmental strategy in line with our global responsibility to limit our environmental impact. This includes to meet future market demands, regulatory requirements and care for the consumer with regards to the environment. A particular concern is to address Elopak's response to national and EU environmental and waste policies and to develop our competitive position in relation to waste management and infrastructure. Primary responsibilities .Establish the Elopak environmental strategy .Responsible for global processes regarding environment and sustainability issues in the Elopak organization .Collaborate closely with and participate in Elopak environmental membership organizations such as in the Alliance for Beverage Cartons and the Environment (ACE) in Brussels .Establish and follow up key areas and KPIs for the Environmental profile of Elopak production .Support communication of environmental benefits to customers and consumers .Report on the Elopak environmental performance status on key parameters .Lead the Corporate Environment department Qualifications & skills .Master degree (technical and or commercial) .Extensive international business experience .Hands on and execution oriented across geographies .Solid experience from EU Waste and Environmental Policy .Insight into regulatory regimes and EU level advocacy and industry associations .Solid competence and experience in stakeholder leadership based on collaboration and influencing dimensions .Strategic mindset but ability and proactive in pushing the topics If you have any questions regarding Elopak or the position, please contact our Recruitment advisor in Gevir Group; Marianne Furru ; marianne@gevirgroup.no- Sektor
