Senior Business Development Manager

Oslo Cancer Cluster Incubator wishes to strengthen the business development team and is now looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to serve life science start-up companies to successfully commercialize their products. Initially this is a 3-year project position but with the intention of becoming a permanent position. 

As our Senior Business Development Manager you will get an important role to consult and advice start-up life science companies with focus on biotech/IT, to give their projects the best possible chance for success. Main responsibility is to coach and advice start up companies in business plans and strategies, company financing (public and private investors), PR strategies and international partnering. In addition, you will also strengthen collaboration with Technology Transfers Offices (TTO`s), support company deal-making and licensing agreements. 

We are looking for a candidate with higher education in Science/Economics (PhD, MBA, and similar). You have the experience from a similar position in the Nordic Life Science industry and you have in-depth knowledge with both the public and private funding systems in the Nordic region. You should have experience in deal-making, mentor programs and innovation systems. Personal skills preferred is being a strong team player, skills in networking, service minded and fluent in Norwegian and English, written and oral.
