Group Vendor and Sourcing Manager

In this position you will be part of an international IT vendor and sourcing specialist team serving Intrum Group in 23 countries. In addition the team comprises the Group enterprise architecture function. The team also executes global projects such as IT strategy, plan and execute system integration, drive cost efficiency programs and other programs initiated by the Chief Operating Officer (COO).

The team is organized with senior managers working in virtual teams within dedicated areas based on priorities. The primary responsibility will however be within IT vendor and sourcing management, but depending of profile, the candidate will also be engaged in IT programs covering the complete responsibility of the team including an ongoing Non-IT procurement program.

If you are passionate about IT vendor and sourcing management processes including managing negotiations, creating business cases and have strong personal skills to implement this in a multi- national environment, then this position is for you.

Responsibilities
• Further develop and implement IT vendor and sourcing  strategy for the Intrum Group
• Implement, develop and maintain a consistent global/local IT vendor and sourcing practise
• Establish and be part of “ONE” virtual global IT vendor and sourcing team – facilitate and drive best practice sharing
• Drive and support group and countries in IT vendor and sourcing management activities to deliver measurable cost savings, process improvements and cash flow improvements
• Manage a number of strategic vendors, control costs, drive service excellence and mitigate risks to gain increased value from the vendors
• Lead IT related programs/project 
• Define and report savings & benefits with fixed KPIs within cost savings, process improvement savings and cash flow improvements

Qualifications
• Extensive experience from IT vendor and sourcing management from a multi-national company. Experience from IT outsourcing and global IT programs will be an advantage
• Extensive and well proven negotiation skills
• Ability to build strong relationships with external and internal stakeholders
• Very good knowledge of global vendor and sourcing processes and sourcing strategies
• Experience from creating and delivering presentations and adequate reporting to top management
• Demonstrated success of working effectively with short timeframes and significant pressure
• Excellent communication skills including spoken and written English
• Minimum bachelor’s degree in finance and/or Information technology

• Ability to work effectively in diverse, multi-cultural and global environments
• Ability to deliver on targets and structured plans in an ambiguous environment
• Passion for communication and interaction with internal contacts as well as with vendors
• Willingness to travel
• +10-15 years relevant experience
