Director of HR - EMEA APAC

We are looking for a new Director of HR with international HR experience to take on the full responsibility of Thinfilm´s Human Resources function in the region EMEA & APAC (Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia/Pacific). As the Director of HR you will be responsible for supporting the management to grow the company by bringing technologies and take electronics into applications never before possible, to new markets. This mission requires you to recruit highly qualified employees, ensuring outstanding on-boarding and recognizing high-potentials within the company.

A key task is to support Thinfilm’s staff to ensure the customer gets top quality service provided by the best and happiest staff around. The Director of HR should work closely with the management to ensure that HR plans are being followed. You should also develop and implement global policies and compensation & benefits programs. The role is both operational and strategic, high and low. It’s expected to ensure an HR culture and HR strategy that is in line with the vision and tone set by the overall company strategy.

The person we are looking for has minimum 5 years experience from an international HR position and higher academic education. The ideal candidate is a skilled and professional HR leader or specialist with experience from an international company, small or big. To succeed you need a solid understanding of basic HR, specialist knowledge of recruitment and compensation & benefits and the ability to quickly adapt to a changing business environment. Finally, good English communication skills are required.

Thinfilm offers a great opportunity to be engaged in a global environment and, together with the HR team of two, develop and maintain the HR operations. You will be able to work independently and report to the CFO in Oslo.
