Noroff University College seeks to appoint new academic staff in the area of Cyber
Security. You will join a team of staff with whom you will be expected to work in very close
collaboration, in undertaking research in the area and engaging in the delivery and
management of the newly launched Bachelor in Cyber Security. As such, evidence of prior
teamwork and excellent communication skills are essential.
You should have a post graduate qualification (preferably PhD) in Computer Science,
Computer Security or a related field. The ability to teach a variety of subjects is essential,
In particular a range of data science related subjects. Relevant skills and experience in the
following areas is required for this post:
•Tools, techniques, methodologies, standards and models for Computer Network
Attack CNO , Computer Network Defence CND and Computer Network
Exploitation CNEU practical and research experienceV
• Penetration testing U practical and research experienceV
•Research Methods, Project Management, Professional Ethics, Problem solvingV
• Working within and managing an academic team.
Excellent spoken and written communication skills with an ability to engage audiences is
Essential for this post. Experience in the design, development and implementation of
curriculum would be useful. A history of publications and research projects in their chosen
field would be a distinct advantage as Noroff University College wishes to continue to
grow in terms of volume and quality of research.
