Noroff University College seeks to appoint new academic staff in the area of Cyber
Security. You will join a team of staff with whom you will be expected to work in very close
collaboration, assisting in the delivery of the newly launched Bachelor program in Cyber
Security, with particular emphasis on supporting the online delivery of education. As such,
evidence of prior teamwork and excellent communication skills are essential.
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about learning and education in general
and their area of expertise. Someone who enjoys learning and is open to innovative
models of learning and teaching. Excellent spoken and written communication skills with
an ability to engage audiences is essential for this post.
You should have a post graduate qualification in cyber security, computing or related field
with experience in two or more of the following areas: penetration testing, computer
network attack and defence, cyber threats and vulnerabilities, information security risk,
software design and development, data management, mathematics. A teaching
qualification and experience of online education delivery would be an advantage.
The successful applicant must be willing to take direction from senior academic staff, but
also be capable of taking initiative and show self motivation.
There may be an opportunity for future academic development and to engage in academic research.
