Candidate profile
The candidate shall have experience from the oil and gas industry, preferable within the IRM segment. The role will encompass Management of projects in Europe,
Mediterranean and West Africa, and international experience and commercial understanding/experience will be expected. The candidate shall live in Norway (Bergen) or be willing to move to Bergen.
Education, experience and knowledge
- Degree level or equivalent Subsea operations knowledge (Experience can compensate for lack of formal competency.)
- Qualified and Experienced in Project Management (Training programme can compensate for lack of experience
Tasks can include, but are not limited to:
- To manage, delivery of work scope in applicable engineering and detailed design, procurement, project services and construction related activities
- Provide input to the establishment of a project execution plan. To included definition on project objectives and strategies, work scope, project team organisation, risks and opportunities, overall work plan and schedule, financial plan, quality and safety requirements etc., consistent with the terms of the contract and the project execution plan mandatory contents
- The implementation and maintenance of the project execution plan (PEP)
- The administering of the contract agreements between DOF Subsea and its subcontractors whereby DOF Subsea interests are protected and income optimised
- The maintaining of close contact with Client throughout the project to ensure satisfactory reaction to client's needs or criticism
- The monitoring and control of project performance against budget, schedule, and quality and safety requirements using appropriate control tools and reporting of same to DOF Subsea Project Execution Manager and client.
- The identification of changes in the scope of work and ensuring that change orders are current and adequate
- The promoting of quality and safety on the project in consultation with the DOF Subsea HSEQ Manager
- The issuing of directions for job close-out and the securing of the final project acceptance and contract release from client
- Responsible for ensuring that current and future customers are made aware of company’s policies, track record and history regards HSEQ
- Take reasonable care of the health and safety of themselves and others and to take the necessary steps to protect the environment
- Your responsibility is to complete the tasks assigned timely and with the required quality.

- Initiate and maintain relevant administration systems.
- Remain flexible in order to adapt to changes in work environment
- Act as a Role Model for the teams and promote the DOF Subsea values and brand towards all parties
- Work effectively, professionally and tactfully with the region's diverse workforce, managers and external companies
