Managing Director, Thor Dahl Shipmanagement AS

As Managing Director your main responsibilities include:

• Manage and develop Thor Dahl Shipmanagement AS activities

• Be responsible for the companys human and material resources

• Responsibility for the operational and financial results of the company

• Maintain and further develop relations with customers, service providers and business contacts

• Maintain and expand product offerings, customer base and market presence

• Work closely with the Board and the other companies within the TDS Group

Your tasks include:

• Management and HR

• Maintain highest quality standards in product offerings, including ISO certification and audits

• Establish excellent working relationship with existing clients

• Follow-up and negotiate with customers, suppliers and service providers

• Responsible for marketing and business development to build new client base

• Identify and develop opportunities for expanding the service scope and offering to meet clients requirements

• Operational reporting, budgeting and board preparation and participation

• Support in project development, including S&P

Key qualifications for the position:

• Technical education at university level as Naval Architect / Marine Engineer or equivalent.

• At least 10 years relevant work experience, preferably with leadership experience, from international ship management or service industry

• Good industry network and contacts

• Proven track-record of business development in the ship management and service business

• Knowledge of international shipping regulations (IMO/USCG)

• Knowledge of ship insurances including hull and machinery as well as P and I.

• Good communication skills in Norwegian and English, written and oral
