Develop strategy and set objectives within Supply Chain in line with and contributing to the Rainpower strategy and business expectations.
Ensure timely quality delivery of supplied material from a robust and proven supply chain function.
Lead Continuous Improvement efforts within Supply Chain and across the business to reduce overall cost, improve quality, shorten lead times, and improve on-time delivery.
Contribute to the Rainpower management team, also in areas tangent to own responsibility, with the objective to improve our efficient operation.
>10 years relevant experience within strategic and international procurement and negotiations
Higher technical or economical university education
Commercial and technical insight and curiosity
Experience with international supplier contracts and contract negotiations
Ability to work under pressure and on own initiative
Good communicator (English) and team player
Organized, analytical, methodical, structured, and solution oriented
Personal computer proficiency, ERP platforms and Microsoft Office skills
On a daily basis manage and execute procurement of goods and services within specified quality, time and cost supporting all projects run in Rainpower
Develop Supply Chain competence and project execution capabilities and adjust for market developments
Manage and execute all SC value stream activities and coordinate relevant stakeholders (e.g. procurement, expediting, logistics, quality, claims, NCRs, vendor-documentation)
Develop and execute the Supply Chain strategy, standardization, frame agreements, supplier development, stocking, analysis, make/buy decisions
Actively implement cost reduction programs, lean thinking and working methods
Drive HSE and business ethics compliance among suppliers.
Development relevant KPIs, cost reductions and supply chain optimization programs, supplier capacity and procurement progress.
Continuously monitor operational performance across projects and service portfolio and use lessons-learned to drive performance improvement
Actively participate in tender strategies, tenders, and negotiations
Develop, ensure effective use of, and maintain fit-for-purpose supply chain standards, processes and tools
The position requires interfacing and communication with project managers, managers of functions and affiliates
