In this role you will gain experience in a complex, highly regulated and challenging environment in one of the biggest pharmaceutical companies in the world. In this role, you lead a small team and will be responsible for Finance & Controlling, Administration, Purchasing, Supply Chain Management and for dedicated compliance subjects. you provide information to the Management relevant for decision making. You execute the strategy which is set by Corporate and the Regional Operating Unit (ROPU) – MIDI and you work closely with Global Business Services.

You will report to the General Manager while also reporting to the ROPU MIDI Finance and Administration Director who will be your functional matrix Supervisor. As the Finance & Administration Manager for Norway, you will be part of the local management team. You have a statutory role to represent  the legal entity BI Norway KS together with the General Manager. You safeguard the interests of the company, especially on financial matters, with local authorities, industry and professional associations and other related enterprises.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Ensure adherence to standard accounting rules, civil and fiscal laws and BI procedures to ensure the accuracy of all accounting matters. Ensure full integrity of all kind of financial statements.
• Establish and lead activities to ensure effective level of internal controls existing in financial processes.
• Lead and develop the local team including Performance Management, Talent Management and Development Planning
•  Responsible for compliance in the assigned areas of the Corporate Compliance program as well as tax and product compliance within the scope of F&A Manager’s role.
•  Ensure financial stability, cash flow, balance sheet management, appropriate funding and compliance of BI Norway
• The F&A Manager’s team is responsible for:
  - Controlling (Business Partnering, Planning, Reporting)
  - Sourcing, procurement and vendor management including liaise and coordinate the local Purchasing/sourcing activities with the Head of Purchasing MIDI in
  Amsterdam

 Requirements and qualifications:

• Master´s Degree in Business Administration( Finance) or Economics
• At least 3 years of experience in Accounting
• Knowledge of SAP and other accounting systems
• Finance experience in Purchasing, SCM is an advantage
• Strong analytical and prioritization skills
• Strong sense of accountabity with a sharp business acumen
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Excellent command of both English and Norwegian language
• Leadership competency is preferred
