Would you like to take on a management role where you bring together our Nordic finance team to create synergy in the way we work? In this role, you will head the team across the 4 Nordic Countries and develop common work processes and share best practices.

Grundfos finance is undergoing a change where transactional finance tasks will be centralized in a shared services hence the remaining finance organisation will move into a role of value adding business partnering role for our Nordic sales companies.  You will be part of setting up the new Nordic organisation and drive the change management agenda both in the team but also in the rest of the organisation. You will be part of the Nordic management team and refer to Area Managing Director, Truls Lystang as well as having an indirectly reporting line to Regional Finance Manager, Hans Jørgen Hansen.

What is the job about?
As our new Nordic finance manager, you become responsible for our finance function in the 4 Nordic countries and for developing effective and common ways of working in the function. You are accountable for the financial activities in the 4 countries and plan, manage and coordinate the finance activities across the financial year. You work closely together with internal stakeholders in finance to ensure optimal finance team deliverables to the sales organisation, and with your colleagues in finance you ensure exchanging best practices to the greater good of Grundfos.
As your team members are based in different locations in the Nordic countries and as our Area Managing Director is based in Oslo frequent travel is expected in the role.

 “You enter into a complex matrix organisation with multiple stakeholders across the Nordic countries, and your main challenge will be to bring together our Nordic finance units in a new way of working. You get to use your motivational and diplomatic skills to empower and engage all in your team,” Truls says.

What do you need to apply?
You have a master’s degree in finance and have a solid leadership experience from a global finance organisation in a large international organisation. Ideally you have an audit background and or experience with ERM in a compliance function moreover you have 5 years’ experience within business controlling.

With your great negotiation and leadership skills, you are used to managing various stakeholders across borders, and you can work strategically as well as on an operational level. Moreover, you have knowledge of SAP systems and excellent communication skills in English and a Scandinavian language.
