Work description

We are looking for a Technical Sales Manager experienced with Set-top-box deliverables that understand the challenges within the future TV market. You must have a strong technology background, understanding the complex deliveries within the operator's distribution workflow and you must be able to define and scope the customers needs to provide a solution specification based on Sixty's Ease TV product offering.

As our Technical Sales Manager you will be responsible for supporting sales through partners and affiliates within the Sixty Alliance Partnership program. You will be working on product development that are critical to our clients. Our main focus of interest is the Multiscreen TV market, where we bridge the gap between regular TV and on demand content with our game changing product line Ease by Sixty. Our designs and implementations are already in use by millions.

In this position you will be able to use your industry knowledge to drive technical sales processes within our rapidly growing global customer base. The Candidate will be working closely with our Business development team and Ease TV product team reporting directly to our Chief Commercial Officer.

The Commercial team in Sixty oversees all product and services sales pipelines, sales documentation, market development, marketing & communication strategies, and key account management. The Commercial team work in close cooperation with our R&D team on product development to set the future ambitions for the Sixty roadmap.

Qualifications

Education:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience within the Set-Top-Box market working with Operators or MSO's
  • Ability to handle complex specifications and develop consistent solutions throughout a sales process.
  • Experience in programming JavaScript, CSS, and HTML5 / SVG
  • Back-end programming (Node, Ruby, PHP) experience is a plus
  • Fluent English speaker. Spanish or/and Chinese would be a great plus.

Sixty's main office is located 60 degrees north in Bergen Norway. For this specific position, we want to hire the best person for the job and prefer to have you join the team in Bergen. Since 20% of our company works remotely we are open to discuss such a solution after at least a year at the head office.
